The working principle of the intake valve of a screw air compressor is that the intake valve is electrically loaded and closed. The current during device unloading may slightly increase, and the current during unloading at 22KW may be 31A. At first, it seemed that the intake valve was not closed. This is because if no gas is used, the pressure will slowly rise after the machine is unloaded, and the high pressure alarm may stop! In addition, even after the machine stops, there is still residual pressure in the machine that cannot be discharged (about 6 kg), causing the engine to overload during restart.
The working principle of the intake valve of a screw air compressor: In general, for the intake valve of a screw air compressor, it is an electric load and is closed. The current during the disengagement of the device may slightly increase. At 22KW, the current during disengagement may be 31A. Initially, it seemed that the intake valve was not closed. This is because if no gas is used, after the machine is disengaged, the pressure will slowly rise, and the high-pressure alarm may stop! In addition, even after the machine stops, there is still residual pressure that cannot be discharged (about 6 kg) in the machine, causing the main unit to overload when it restarts.
When the intake valve of the screw air compressor is a normally open valve, the solenoid valve opens when the screw air compressor is not loaded, and closes when the compressor is loaded. Opening the solenoid valve provides a way to close the intake valve, but it cannot be fully closed, and it retains the intake space to maintain the minimum pressure required for lubricating the compressor. This pressure is usually 1.5 bar. The solenoid valve closes. Then the compressor enters normal operation until the set working pressure is reached, which depends on the user.

The intake valve has two pipes. One of the pipes is for ventilation; the other is to ensure the normal load on the compressor by releasing the residual gas in the valve. When the unit is unloaded, the oil tank pressure is high, indicating that the current for the large opening of the intake valve is too large. Adjust the exhaust screw to prevent the oil tank pressure from being too high. After the screw air compressor is turned off, the tank pressure will be completely emptied in approximately 60 seconds. That is to say, the pressure will be 0 and the tank pressure will be 6 bar. This indicates that there is a problem with the exhaust pipeline of the intake valve. It is too fine; the combined valve holes are too small or clogged.
After unloading, the pressure slightly increases back and forth, but this is just a balance that takes a short time. It will not rise to the high-pressure shutdown level. The high-pressure shutdown should be due to the problem of the air compressor's electromagnetic valve. Check if it is normal and functioning properly. No matter what the intake valve is, during the unloading between BARs, the oil tank pressure must remain between 1.0 and 2.0. If it is too high, it will waste a lot of energy for the screw air compressor.
