The celebration ceremony was held in the drilling machine assembly workshop of Zhejiang Zhigao Machinery Co., Ltd., with a warm and solemn atmosphere. The general manager of the Special Equipment Center of China Railway Tunnel Bureau Group, Meng Xianjun, and the chairman of Zhejiang Zhigao Machinery Co., Ltd., Xie Cun, led their respective expert groups and team members to attend this celebration ceremony.

Research Background of MT11A Tunnel Anchor Rod Truck

Since 2017, a large number of infrastructure projects have been initiated in our country. The significant investment made by the state in road and railway construction has led to continuous record-breaking in tunnel construction mileage and the number of projects started. With the increasing costs related to construction, such as labor costs, environmental protection costs, and safety costs, more and more construction companies have begun to adopt mechanized construction. Due to the high prices of large tunnel construction equipment, most companies hope that the equipment can be used for multiple purposes. Based on the current situation of tunnel construction in China, the main excavation equipment uses three-arm or two-arm rock drilling and excavation trolleys. These types of equipment can not only drill and blast holes, but also drill advance exploration holes and anchor bolt holes, etc. However, if new methods of construction are adopted, the number of anchor bolt holes will be huge, and the three-arm trolley can only drill one anchor bolt installation hole at a time, which cannot achieve the one-time drilling, grouting, and installation of anchor bolts process. It also requires the cooperation of other manual and equipment to complete the anchor bolt work. Therefore, a professional large-scale tunnel anchor bolt trolley is a great demand. Currently, in the world, the MT11A type anchor bolt trolley jointly developed by the Special Equipment Center of China Railway Tunnel Bureau and Zhejiang Zhigao Machinery Co., Ltd. fills this gap. As an integrated professional anchor bolt construction trolley, MT11A can realize drilling, grouting, and anchoring integrated construction. The construction process is simple, and personnel occupation is low, thereby greatly improving work efficiency and construction safety, and shortening the construction period.
In 2017, China Railway Tunnel Engineering Group and Zhejiang Zhigao Machinery Co., Ltd. jointly developed the first domestically-made integrated drilling and grouting tunnel anchor rod vehicle, which was successfully used in the Zhengwan Railway project and received recognition from all parties. This MT11A new type of tunnel anchor rod vehicle is the result of close cooperation between the two parties. Based on the summary and optimization of the first anchor rod vehicle, it took 9 months of continuous efforts and research to successfully develop an upgraded tunnel anchor rod vehicle suitable for construction in complex terrain conditions. It is a historic leap for domestically produced tunnel anchor rod vehicles to enter the market.
