Where are water well rigs applied? Water well drilling platforms are used in many places, agricultural wells, water wells, aquaculture, forestry, road facilities, etc. Everything you need for water. Drilling water wells, completing downhole pipelines, well washing and other mechanical equipment. Including power equipment and drill bits, drill pipes, core tubes, drill platforms, etc. It is generally divided into three categories: rotary transmission, impact drilling and composite transmission. Rotary drilling rigs rely on the rotational movement of the drill bit to break the rock into holes.
There are five main types.
1. Pot cones. Rotate the soil layer with a pot conical drill. Depending on the size of the drill, crucible cone and small pot cone are driven by man or power, respectively. Place the cut soil in the pot and lift it to the ground for drainage. The utility model has simple structure, low efficiency, and is suitable for general soil layer or sand and pebble soil layer. The drilling depth is 80-100 meters for small pot cones and 30-40 meters for large pot cones.
2. Circulating mud washing rotary drilling rig. It consists of tower, winch, turntable, drill, mud pump, faucet and electric motor. During operation, the power machine drives the turntable through the transmission, and the active drill pipe drives the drill bit to rotate and destroy the rock formation. There are two ways to circulate, positive and negative. When the circulation drill is working, the bottom cuttings are removed from the well through an annular channel outside the drill pipe. After the sedimentation tank settles, the slurry flows back to the mud pool for recycling. When the RC rig is working, the mud flows from the wellhead to the bottom of the well after the sedimentation tank settles. The mud carrying the drill cuttings is pumped out of the well by the drill pipe, through the drill pipe nozzle and back to the sedimentation tank. The rig has a high upward flow rate in the drill pipe. It has a strong ability to discharge rock chips and pebbles, and the drilling speed is fast. It is suitable for loose formations, soil layers, sand layers and pebbles smaller than the drill pipe inner diameter. Drilling depths are generally within 150 meters.
3. Pressure gas washing rotary drilling rig. Air compressors are used instead of mud pumps on rotary rotary drills, and compressed air is used instead of mud to clean wells. Usually, the reverse circulation method, also known as gas lift reverse circulation, is also employed. It is suitable for deep wells, dry areas with scarce water and permafrost.
4. Hydraulic power head drilling rig. It is driven by a hydraulic motor through a reducer and replaces the turntable and faucet on the rotary drill bit, and the power head moves up and down on the tower to drive the drill pipe and drill bit rotating rock formation. Large diameter wells can be drilled.
5. DTH vibrating rotary drilling rig. Rock formations are drilled through a combination of vibration and rotational motion. The drill bit consists of a drill bit, a vibrator, a damper and a guide cylinder. The excitation force generated by the vibrator causes the entire drilling tool to perform a tapered swing to break the rock formation. The well is cleaned by a reverse circulation of compressed air so that the cuttings are discharged through the inner cavity of the conduit and drill pipe. Drilling depths of up to 150 meters can be reached.
Percussion drilling rigs rely on the vertical reciprocating movement of the drill bit to hit the bottom of the well to destroy the rock formation. The structure is simple, there is no circulation cleaning system, and the drilling cuttings and drilling machine cannot be disassembled at the same time, which is inefficient. Drilling depths are generally within 250 meters, sometimes up to 500-600 meters.
There are two main types.
1. Cone punching. Use the weight of the drill bit itself to influence the formation. At the lower end of the drill are several sharp-angled flaps that can be folded. When the drill bit moves down under its own weight, the baffle opens and cuts into the rock layer, then the drill bit is lifted by the winch through the wire rope, and the baffle is closed. During this process, drill cuttings are trapped in a cone and the cuttings are discharged from the wellhead. Drilling depths are typically 40 to 50 meters, with a maximum depth of 100 to 150 meters.
2. Wire rope impact drill. It consists of a mast and lifting pulley, wire rope, impact mechanism, drill bit and electric motor installed on the top. During operation, the motor drives the impact mechanism through the transmission and drives the wire rope to reciprocate the drilling tool. When moving downward, the weight of the drill bit is cut and broken by the weight of the drill bit, and the wire rope pulls the upward movement. The drilling stroke is 0.5 to 1 meter, and the impact frequency is 30 to 60 times per minute. The drill cuttings are removed from the ground through a sand pump tube and drilled and removed at the same time.
There are two types of composite drilling rigs: one is to add an impact mechanism on the basis of rotary drilling rigs, and rotary drilling is the mainstay. When encountering pebble formations, two water well rigs are used in various formations through percussion drilling. Adaptable. The other is a waterwell rig that combines impact and swing, such as a wind-driven downhole hammer rig. DTH hammer drills consist of cylinder liners and pistons. The high-pressure air is supplied by an air compressor to push the piston reciprocating up and down, and the drill bit is struck to enhance the drill bit's ability to drill into the rock formation. At the same time, the drill bit rotates at a lower speed of 35 to 60 rpm. The air exhausted from the upper and lower chambers of the piston enters the drill bit and carries the bottom cuttings out of the wellhead. Wind-powered DTH hammer drilling can be used to drill deep wells in hard rock formations with high drilling speeds and straight holes.
