What is the reason for the high temperature of the screw air compressor?
1、 The factors that can be considered in the cooling system include environmental factors, indoor ventilation, cooler blockage, insufficient cooling water and cooling air volume, etc.
1. Due to environmental factors and indoor ventilation conditions, a large amount of heat is generated during equipment operation. If this heat is not exported outdoors in a timely manner, it may cause a closed circulation of air flow indoors. In other words, the heat discharged by the air compressor during heat exchange will be sucked in again by the air inlet of the air compressor. This vicious cycle will continue to cause high temperatures in the equipment. According to the ventilation status of the setting location, it is necessary to perform forced ventilation when the ambient temperature exceeds 40 ℃.
Precautions for indoor ventilation:
▶ The position of the air inlet and exhaust outlet should be located as low as possible in the house, and should be located in a location that is not easy to inhale environmental dust and harmful gases. In harsh environments such as heavy dust, appropriate air inlet filtration devices should be equipped. The exhaust outlet is generally set above the roof or wall, and protective facilities are added.

a. The ventilation area of the exhaust channel should be large enough;
b. The exhaust channel should be as short as possible to reduce flow resistance. Based on the exhaust air volume of the compressor, the resistance of the exhaust channel should be calculated. If the pressure loss exceeds 20Pa, an auxiliary exhaust fan should be set up;
c. For the convenience of maintenance, a detachable structure is adopted for the exhaust channel, and wind hoods such as canvas or white iron sheet can be used for connection and balance to avoid excessive pulling and vibration transmission. Flexible adjustable flap plates can be installed, and the channel can be closed during winter to avoid low temperature.
2. The cooler is blocked, and there are air-cooled plate fin heat exchangers and water-cooled shell tube heat exchangers. Over time, due to environmental factors or cooling water quality, the cooler may experience blockage, which can be confirmed by the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the cooler. A plate fin heat exchanger is a bundle of heat exchange tubes composed of rectangular plates and tubes. For blockages in air-cooled heat exchangers, compressed air above 0.2MPa can be repeatedly blown, and in severe cases, it can be disassembled and cleaned as a whole. For water-cooled tube heat exchangers, they mainly consist of two parts: an external shell and an internal cooler. Due to different manufacturers' equipment, the medium through which the tube and shell pass may flow, and the cooling water quality used on site may vary, the blockage of the tube heat exchanger requires cyclic cleaning with different chemical agents.
3. Insufficient cooling water and cooling air volume
▶ Insufficient cooling air volume, check if the start and stop temperature of the fan on the control panel is set reasonably, and if the cooling fan acts in a timely manner or is damaged; The air intake dust screen should be regularly purged to prevent blockage; In addition, the design and installation of the exhaust channel is unreasonable. If the exhaust air volume is too small or the channel resistance is large, it will affect the air volume of the equipment, leading to an increase in the exhaust temperature of the air compressor.
▶ Insufficient cooling water volume, check the water temperature of the cooling water. High water temperature reduces the temperature between the cooling water and lubricating oil, reducing the heat exchange effect; In addition, due to insufficient cooling water, the heat of high-temperature lubricating oil cannot be timely cooled by the circulating cooling water, resulting in an increasingly high temperature. Usually, the return water pressure of the cooling water is required to be no less than 0.15MPa.
