1、 Repair of the body

The inner surface hardness of the body is higher than that of the screw, and its damage occurs later than that of the screw. The scrapping of the body refers to the increase in inner diameter due to time wear and tear. The repair method is as follows:

1. If there is still a certain amount of nitriding layer in the body with increased diameter due to wear, the inner hole of the body can be directly drilled, ground to a new diameter size, and then a new screw can be prepared according to this diameter.

2. The inner diameter of the body is machined, trimmed, and re cast with alloy, with a thickness between 1-2mm, and then precision machined to the desired size.

2、 Repair of screws

1. The twisted screw should be manufactured based on the actual inner diameter of the machine body, and the deviation of the outer diameter of the new screw should be given according to the normal clearance with the machine body.

2. After the surface of the thread with reduced diameter of the worn screw is treated, wear-resistant alloy is sprayed by thermal spraying, and then ground to size. This method is usually processed and repaired by professional spray painting factories, and the cost is relatively low.

3. Weld wear-resistant alloy on the threaded part of the worn screw. Weld 1-2mm thick according to the degree of screw wear, and then grind the screw to size. This wear-resistant alloy is composed of materials such as C, Cr, Vi, Co, W, and B, which increases the wear and corrosion resistance of the screw. Professional welding factories have high costs for this type of processing, and except for screws with special requirements, they are generally rarely used.

4. The repair of Zhigao screw air compressor screws can also be achieved by surface plating with hard chromium. Chromium is also a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant metal, but the hard chromium layer is relatively easy to peel off.
