This article shares the causes and solutions of excessive exhaust temperature, inverted oil injection and insufficient gas volume during the operation of the water-cooled Chigo screw air compressor.

1 Exhaust temperature is too high 
Under normal operation of the compressor, if the temperature sensor switch or temperature display fails, the protection device will not protect the unit normally, which will cause the oil to deteriorate.

(1) Oil core failure 
The oil separation core plays the role of separating compressed air and oil in the unit, and after the oil separation core fails, the following two situations may occur:

a) The oil core is blocked, resulting in increased compressor running resistance and energy consumption, resulting in high temperature in the unit. After blockage, cleaning treatment can be used, and the oil separation core must be replaced in severe cases.

b) The breakdown or damage of the oil separation core leads to increased fuel consumption and increased oil temperature, which will cause the exhaust temperature to rise. At this time, the oil separation core must be replaced in time.

(2) The oil filter is blocked 
The function of the oil filter is to filter out metal particles, impurities, etc. in the special oil of the compressor, so that the oil entering the host is clean to protect the safe operation of the host. After blockage, it will cause the exhaust temperature to be too high, and at the same time, it will shorten the service life of the oil and oil separation core, and if it does not restore its original function after cleaning treatment, it should be replaced in time.

(3) Pressure valve jamming 
The function of the pressure valve is: to ensure the normal lubrication of the unit parts when the compressor starts; Keep the oil pressure at the minimum pressure value, so that the oil and gas can achieve the best separation effect, so as to reduce the oil content in the exhaust; Prevent compressed air backflow when the vehicle is empty or stopped. If the valve is stuck and cannot be opened or cannot be fully opened, the internal pressure of the oil separation barrel will increase, the energy consumption loss will be large, and the exhaust temperature will rise. After jamming, it can be handled by service or replacement.

(4) The oil shut-off valve jamming 
The oil shut-off valve plays the role of connecting the oil circuit system when the unit is running and making the oil circuit circulate smoothly, so when the oil shut-off valve fails and cannot be opened or cannot be fully opened, it will cause the lubricating oil to enter the machine head smoothly, so that due to insufficient oil return, the unit will be high temperature, causing the exhaust temperature to rise.
