Industry Green Mine Construction Promotion Conference" hosted by Hunan Sand and Gravel Association and undertaken by Hunan Xiangsha Group and Hunan Xiangxiang Shuanglou Quarry Factory was grandly held in Panlong Villa Hotel, Xiangtan City.    More than 150 people attended the conference, including leaders of relevant functional departments, expert committee of Hunan Sand and Gravel Association, Guangdong Sand and Gravel Association, Xiangtan Stone Industry Association, sand and gravel enterprises and mining equipment enterprises.

    The meeting made a practical interpretation of the green mine construction work in the sand and gravel industry. The theme focuses on "green, innovative, breakthrough, pragmatic, and building a green sand and gravel aggregate industrial system", aiming to comprehensively promote the pilot construction of green mines in Hunan Province and establish a green mining development demonstration zone, and create a new mode and pattern of mining development that meets the requirements of ecological civilization construction with "low energy consumption, high output, low emissions, recyclability and sustainability", so as to lead the green development path of coordination between sand and gravel aggregate mining development and environmental protection in Hunan Province.

   Ding Meirong, Deputy Director of the Raw Materials Division of Hunan Economic and Information Commission, delivered an opening speech, saying that sand and gravel aggregate is a bulk building material, the most demanded building material, and can affect the concrete industry, so the green transformation of sand and gravel aggregate is of great significance. Leaders of functional departments, expert committees and enterprise representatives attending the meeting successively delivered wonderful speeches with green mine construction as the core.

   Dai Changhua, deputy director of Hunan Geological Environment Monitoring Station, made a wonderful report: Secretary Xi pointed out that "gold and silver mountains are green water and green mountains", our green mine construction is green green mountains, and the sand and gravel industry has great potential to build green mines, and encourages all enterprises to actively build green mines.

   Tang Guanliang, president of the Xiangtan Stone Industry Association, based on the relevant situation of the Xiangtan Stone Industry Association, talked about green mines to seize opportunities, take active actions, develop innovation, and produce safety.


   Li Jianke, President of Hunan Sand and Gravel Association, gave a lecture on the topic of "Opening a New Green Era and Embarking on a New Green Journey". Chairman Li introduced the current situation and future development trend of the sand and gravel aggregate industry, and made suggestions for promoting the construction of green mines in Hunan Province.

   Chairman Li pointed out: As a province with large sand and gravel resources, Hunan Province has superior geological conditions and rich resources. However, the scattered phenomena such as indiscriminate mining and excavation, mining of wealth and abandonment of poverty, and random discharge and abandonment are serious. In recent years, all parts of our province have increasingly strengthened the mining of natural sand and gravel resources and environmental protection, the process of green upgrading and enterprise development of sand and gravel industry has accelerated significantly, new concepts, new models, new technologies and high-efficiency energy-saving and environmental protection equipment technologies of sand and gravel aggregates have continued to emerge, the development of sand and gravel industry is facing great challenges, and modern green mines have become the consensus of the industry. Industrial green upgrading and standardized development of enterprises have become opportunities for the development of the sand and gravel industry, and will also face fierce competition.

  Since 2010, when China's national government departments issued the "Guiding Opinions on the Construction of Green Mines", in 2011 the State Council issued the "Industrial Transformation and Upgrading Plan 2011-2015", and in 2018 the Hunan Provincial Economic and Information Commission issued the "Notice on Printing and Distributing the "Specification Conditions for Sand and Gravel Aggregate Industry in Hunan Province", the sand and gravel aggregate industry has opened a new journey of green development and industrialization.

   With the deepening of China's ecological civilization construction, the report combines General Secretary Xi Jinping's thesis that "we want both gold and silver mountains, but also green water and green mountains", and puts forward the future development plan of green mine construction

        In 2018, Hunan Sand and Gravel Association will integrate the current situation of the sand and gravel aggregate industry in the province, in accordance with the planning of the competent government departments, to implement the development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, assist the competent government departments to implement the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the construction of ecological civilization, and realize government guidance, association assistance, enterprise subjects, and standard leadershipPolicy support, the concept of green development runs through the whole process of planning, exploration, development and utilization and protection of sand and gravel aggregate mineral resources, and ultimately realizes green development, innovative development, cooperative development, integrated development and harmonious development.

Finally, Chairman Li also put forward five suggestions for improving the green mine standard system:

1. Establish local standards for green mines and clarify the requirements for green mine assessment indicators;

2. Improve the technological innovation system, increase investment in innovation, and realize industrialization, environmental protection and intelligent development;

3. Improve the quality control system, improve product quality, and strengthen the level of quality management;

4. Strictly implement ecological and environmental protection measures for exploration and construction, and reduce the impact of geological exploration on the ecological environment;

5. Promote the recycling of resources, strengthen land regreening, reclamation and tailings treatment, and establish the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection.
